Motorola’s Android phones have always been notoriously difficult to root. Motorola locked down its software back in 2010 and it took nearly 2 years for anyone to find a reliable way to break in.
Fortunately, most modern Motorola smartphones can be rooted. Today, we’re going to show you how to quickly and easily root your Droid RAZR Maxx in just a few simple steps.
Why would you want to root your Droid RAZR Maxx? Here are a few reasons why thousands of Motorola users root their phones every day:
-Download the latest version of Android the day it’s released, not the day Motorola decides to publish it
-Download thousands of root only apps from the Google Play Store and other websites
-Tether your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections
-Experience the fastest possible Android performance
-Enjoy better security
-Uninstall crapware apps and Motorola apps that you don’t use
After rooting your Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx, you’ll enjoy full control over your smartphone for the first time. It’s a freeing feeling, and without rooting, you’ll never be able to enjoy the full potential of Android’s open source features.
Oh, and by the way: these tips also work for the Droid RAZR HD, RAZR M, and Atrix HD. IT should also work on a bunch of other Motorola devices as well, so it’s worth a shot if you’re trying to find a way to root some obscure Motorola device.
One Click Root does not currently support the Droid RAZR Maxx. The exploit instructions listed below are not affiliated with One Click Root and One Click Root takes no responsibility for damages done to your phone.
Rooting your phone may violate its warranty. If done improperly, rooting your Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx may also brick it. However, since the RAZR Maxx is relatively easy to root, you shouldn’t have any trouble.
