The Samsung Galaxy S is an Android smartphone that laid the foundation for Samsung’s ultra popular Galaxy S series that eventually became one of the most popular series of smartphones ever sold. The Galaxy S was a game-changing Android smartphone and was a phone that earned several unique “first time ever” distinctions.  It was the first Android smartphone to be certified for DivX HD and used the fastest smartphone graphics processing unit at the time of release. The Samsung Galaxy S also happened to be the thinnest smartphone available at that time. The Galaxy S was ranked #2 in the “Top 10 Gadgets of 2010” list in TIME magazine.

The Samsung Galaxy S is powered by an efficient 1 GHz ARM processor with a RAM of 512 MB, which is well complemented by its sleek body design and beautiful 4” Super AMOLED display screen.  The phone runs on the Android 2.1 OS and uses the neat Samsung Touch Wiz 3.0 UI. However, it’s been a solid 2 years since the launch of the Galaxy S and it’s safe to say that its performance struggles to pace itself with the high-end smartphones available today due to its obvious hardware limitations and the reluctance of device manufacturers to consistently provide OS updates. However, many of these limitations can easily be overcome if you choose to root your Samsung Galaxy S smartphone and allow it to use the full potential of the open source Android platform.

Thanks to One Click Root, rooting your Samsung Galaxy S phone is simpler than ever. Not only is this rooting solution super-quick and easy to execute, but it also gives a 100% guarantee against any rooting related malfunctioning on your Android device.
